Plastic and polymer raw materials include polyethylene, polystyrene, polypropylene, PVC, copolymer, homopolymer, and so on. Some polymeric materials have a biological basis, that is, they are made from materials extracted from nature. Some other materials are extracted directly from nature but are mainly produced from oil and gas derivatives.

Polymer is made up of the words “poly” and “mer”, poly means How many and mar means part. In fact, polymers are substances whose molecular structure is made up of a large number of repeating components. Most polymers are made up of one type of monomer, but some are made up of two or more types of monomers. Polymers made from two or more types of monomers are called copolymers, and polymers made from one type of monomer are called homopolymers.

Polymers are generally divided into two major categories: thermoplastics and thermostats. Thermostats are polymers that do not melt due to heat but are hardened or burned, so they cannot be recycled. Thermoplastics, which are more simply called plastics or plastics, are a large group of polymeric materials that melt when heated and solidify due to re-cooling.

Plastic and polymer raw materials have many properties, which has led to the increasing use of these materials in various industries. Polymers are widely used in various industries such as automotive, construction, textile, health and pharmaceutical industries, electrical and electronic industries, agriculture and so on.
